Sleep covers of 1/3rd of our life. Now that’s a lot! It means that it is an important part of our life. There is a deep connection between our memory and sleep. It would rather be a good idea to stop cramming your head in the night and let the brain process all the information while we sleep.
If you want to learn something, physical or mental, make sure to give it enough day and night time. Day time when you would learn it and night time when the brain will work the whole night to convert what you have learned the part of you.

2. Longer Life Expectancy
At first, it may seem absurd but there is a much deeper connection. Too much or too little sleep has an association with a shorter lifespan, although it’s the reason is not clear.
A study conducted in 2010 showed that in women ages 50 to 70 more deaths occurred in women who got more than six and a half or less than five hours of sleep per night.
Of course, sleep also affects the quality of life.

According to the research, people who get sleep less than six or fewer hours in the night have higher blood levels of inflammatory proteins than the people who get more.
