Mint belongs to family Lamiacea. There are approximately thirteen to twenty-four different types of mint around the whole world. It is used for various purposes and has many healthy benefits.


Mint is not used in large amount but it has many important nutrients. It contains vitamin A, Iron, Manganese and Folic acid. Vitamin A present in mint is very healthy for eye health and vision in night. Mint is also rich in various types of antioxidant that prevent the body from free radical production.
